The conservation, and improvement of the original building and the retention of finishes installed during Tom Ford's residence was an important element of the works. The building was re-serviced with a new electrical and plumbing installation, so existing finishes were carefully removed, recorded and reinstated.
In addition to the internal work and improved the external parts of the building were also upgraded. The whole building was re rendered with lime based render and a breathable paint system, and the surrounding garden spaces re-andscaped.
